Municipality of Delta

The building of the old primary school of Sindos, dating back in 1932, is located in the central square of Sindos and is characterized as a preserved monument by the Ministry of Culture.
The proposal’s main points are the restoration of the external preserved facades and the structural reinforcement of the building, in order to house the services of the Municipality of Delta. Τhe large interior ceiling heights between the floors are fully exploited and an extra attic is added. The roof is raised and a special roof framing system is implemented to ensure a clear interior space.
